COLD SORE TREATMENTS
We also offer laser cold sore treatments at our McKinney dental office. These use a different hand-held laser that beams powerful laser light into your cold sore. This laser energy destroys the virus inside the sore, halting its progression. Over time, the sore will begin to fade and become less prominent.
One of the best things about cold sore treatments is that they are semi-permanent. Basically, whenever laser treatment is used to destroy a cold sore, the likelihood of a cold sore recurring in that area is much lower.
